Description
Joy Eternal is a 20″ x 20″ acrylic on canvas. NOTE: Joy Eternal has been juried into the “Abstracted” show at the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver. It is available through the show from February 22nd, 2021 until March 7th, 2021.
Layers and more layers were painted, scraped and scratched to reveal previous colours. The feeling was expressing the joy in the moment – a single golden leaf spiraling to the ground, the glint of sunlight on a wave, the secret depths of a forest pond…
Cotton canvas on deep pine stretcher bars. Edges painted as continuation of painting, unframed.
