Mandala magenta and blue is a 6″ x 6″ oil on archival gessoed board
Whether drawing them in ink and applying water colour or as in this case painting with oils, creating mandalas for me is a meditative process. This was a spontaneous expression – a joyful play with colour and form. The curious result includes a blue poppy and something like the wild flower we called Jack-in-the-pulpit when I was growing up.
Unframed. ($200 framed with wood cradle and floater frame)
